The APP(SL) capacitor is a non-self-healing power capacitor made with an aluminium foil and polypropylene film construction.
The extended-foil design provides a large electrical contact area and helps achieve low losses and stable electrical characteristics. The capacitor elements are assembled into a robust enclosure and impregnated using a suitable non-PCB impregnation system.
